Goodwin Brothers Construction Company has a career opportunity for a Construction Project Manager . The Project Manager is responsible for the coordination of all aspects of the project from pre-construction meetings through final start-up. They carefully plan, direct and manage the project, ensuring that it stays on budget and schedule. The project manager communicates effectively with all stakeholders in order to define objectives, manage changes and solve problems throughout the life of the project. We strive to maintain positive relationships with customers, subcontractors and suppliers. As the most frontward facing representative of the company, the Project Manager plays a lead role in fostering these positive relationships. Job responsibilities include: Monitor project profitability with monthly job cost projections Develop and maintain an accurate project schedule working with subcontractors and superintendents Coordinate site safety plans with Safety Directors Collaborate with Estimators to convert bidding estimates into project cost codes Review subcontractor and supplier scope and pricing, negotiate terms, and write subcontracts/purchase orders Compile monthly pay applications Review, approve, and code job cost invoices Notify owner of project cost and schedule impacts including pricing additional scope items and maintaining change management log Benefits : Full health insurance for the employee and family with company paid premiums, flexible paid time off, paid holidays, long-term disability coverage, and a 401k.   Must have 5 years of experience in a leadership role in heavy civil and/or industrial construction An undergraduate degree in construction management or engineering is required Must live in or near the St. Louis, MO or Kansas City, MO metro area.
